just what actually is
ProFlightSimulator? It’s a flight simulator with
emphasis on simulator, because it’s not a
video game for little kids with 3 buttons to push. It takes some time to read through
and figure
out the controls and learn how to fly, just as it would be flying for real. Still, once you get
introduced with the controls, it’s a
astounding way to lay the
groundwork you for comprehending how to fly in real life. There is a
an enormous selection 120+ of
aircraft to fly including B747, B767, A330, A380, 1903 Wright Flyer, emerging military fighter jets, helicopters and even gliders. The
landscape is exactly
authentic and
it’s found in on
input from US Defense Mapping
Agency. Now don’t expect everything to be just up to date, but from what I can tell it’s credible to around 2009.
Famous sightseeing spots like the
Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco or Eiffel Tower in Paris are all in there waiting for you to fly by. You’ll be taking off and landing to over
20.000 real airports from all over the world. Just about everything from aircraft,
cockpits, terrain, to planetary movements & alignments is focused on actual world data.

Pro Flight Simulator runs on both Windows all version from Windows 98 to Windows 7 are supported and Mac. It’s not
very pressing and most
of modern computers will run it smoothly. The Simulator will
supposedly run with at least a 1.5GHz+ processor,
256MB of memory and a graphics card with at least 128MB of memory. I’ve not tested it on a computer with
features that low,
so my proven advice is a 2Ghz processor, at least 512MB of
memory and a graphics card with at least 256Mb of memory. The whole installation is easy – first you
download ProFlightSimulator from their website, then you install it and start flying. You don’t need any real
computer knowledge and step by step video tutorials are available, supposing you get in trouble.
Proflight i do believe is
the straight out
flight simulator on the market today, hands down.
